HOW IT WORKS

Using patent-pending technology, MyRainScout.com combines Doppler radar data, ground truthing stations and proprietary algorithms, to record precise rainfall amounts for GPS based locations selected by you.

When a rain event of at least 0.1" occurs at any of your fields between 5 a.m. and 5 a.m., a detailed report for your farm will be emailed to you for that 24-hour period at 5:30 a.m. followed by a quality checked report at 12 p.m.

MyRainScout.com records the precise amount of rainfall for a given location and emails you a rain report if a 0.1" rain event occurs within the 5AM-5AM monitoring period.

At approximately 5:30AM you will receive an email showing preliminary rainfall totals. At approximately noon, you will receive another email showing the final quality controlled rain totals. This email also shows how much rain the site has received since your planting date. As well as growing degree days since planting.

At the end of each month, MyRainScout.com delivers a summary of all rainfall on your property during the month. The data is broken down by date and is also presented as a total amount. The report can be sent to up to three e-mail addresses.
